Who we are

Contact admin@surelets.co.uk. Luxe Stay and Property Sauce are trading names of the same company and this notice covers them.
What we collect and why
Landlords and prospective landlords
Name, contact details, property addresses, bank details for rent payments, identity documents where anti-money-laundering checks apply, tax status including non-resident landlord scheme information, and correspondence. We use this to provide the services you instruct, to pay you, and to meet our legal obligations. The lawful bases are performance of a contract and legal obligation.
Tenants, applicants and guarantors
Name, contact details, date of birth, identity and right to rent documents, employment and income information, previous landlord references, credit history from a referencing provider, bank details, and correspondence during the tenancy, including repair reports and inspection photographs. We use this to assess an application, to set up and manage a tenancy, to protect a deposit and to meet legal duties such as right to rent checks. The lawful bases are steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation and, for some checks, our legitimate interest in letting responsibly.
Website visitors
This website does not use analytics cookies or tracking. The contact form and chat send an email from your own email application; nothing is stored on our server. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
Who we share it with
Referencing and credit providers, deposit protection schemes, contractors carrying out repairs (address and access details only), utility companies and local authorities where a tenancy requires it, our accountants and professional advisers, the Property Redress Scheme if a complaint is referred, HMRC where the law requires, and property portals for marketing. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask us to restrict processing while a question is resolved. Email admin@surelets.co.uk. We respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
